English Language Arts Activities

One of the most important things that can be done to help support your child's learning, is to keep working on their literacy skills. Reading and writing are skills that are essential in the development of a student. These fundamental skills should be practiced daily! I will post some links below, but from our perspective one of the most powerful ways that you can help support developing literacy skills is to read with your child, and then discuss what you read together.

Term 1 Writer's Workshop focus is informational writing. We will be doing a variety of writing tasks that will build on each other with a final project of completing an animal report about a given animal.
